After completing his undergraduate studies at Drew University, John worked as a patient liaison at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey while pursuing his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Capella University. Shortly after attaining that degree, John began working as a case manager in New Jersey, eventually becoming the Director of Integrated and Forensic Case Management in Morris County, NJ, as well as holding the title of President of the New Jersey Association of Integrated Case Management and Chair of Morris County’s Residential Task Force. After the development of the US Department of Veterans Affairs’ programming to end veteran homelessness, John transitioned to running a local SSVF (Supported Services for Veteran Families) program in Pennsylvania in 2013, and moved to the area shortly thereafter, where he was critical in assisting over 1000 veterans and their families in attaining stable housing. Currently, he serves as the Admissions and Care Navigator for New Vitae Wellness and Recovery. In this role, he works with the admissions team to assess individuals seeking admission to New Vitae’s programming and determine what services could best support achievement of each person’s goals.  John then supports the new residents as they begin their transition into life at New Vitae.

John also continues to serve as the liaison to the US Department of Veterans Affairs and other veteran-based service agencies for New Vitae, ensuring that any veteran residents in our programming receive the maximum benefits and care they are entitled to as a result of their service to our country. He acts as a consultant internally to all of the company’s veteran-centered programming and endeavors.

John now lives in Emmaus, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children. He coaches both youth soccer and wrestling. In his spare time, John enjoys trivia, watching wrestling, collecting comics and games, and reading about philosophy.

“I got stronger each day due to the possibilities and strength from being there.  My only regret is that I didn’t find New Vitae sooner.  Give yourself a chance.”
