In addition to supports designed to facilitate recovery from brain injury, individuals receiving services from Action Recovery can utilize the New Vitae Wellness and Recovery Center to assist with emergent or long-term behavioral health challenges, including Autism Spectrum disorders and Intellectual DisAbilities. Individual and group therapy, case management services, mentoring, and other individualized supports can be woven into a plan for recovery that emphasizes holistic care.

All services begin with an assessment of strengths, needs, and goals, with a supportive intake process. Afterwards, the recovery team will work with the individual receiving services and his/her family to establish a personalized daily routine and schedule. Medical, cognitive, vocational, and psychosocial challenges can all be explored.

New Vitae Action Recovery services include medication administration, assistance with daily living tasks, and establishment and maintainance of community connections.  Recreational activities are routinely scheduled to encourage peer-to-peer support. Additionally, regular job training and coaching is available to support prevocational or community employment.

Action Recovery is proud to be accredited by CARF.

Our Action Recovery Services have also been recognized by the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists Alliance; we are honored to be Silver Members as a result of our commitment to education and training.
