Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services

Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (MPRS) assist individuals with learning life skills in a home, work, or community setting.  Designed for individuals who encounter behavioral health symptoms in addition to challenges associated with daily living, learning, working, or socialization, Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services are individualized to promote recovery in an environment of the individual’s choosing.  MPRS are typically scheduled on a daily basis in order to ensure routine supports, and can be utilized to facilitate goal achievement in these or other domains:

  • Symptom Management
  • Self-Care
  • Securing and upkeep of housing
  • Crisis Support
  • Progression in independent living
  • Obtaining a high school diploma/college degree/continuing education
  • Obtaining or maintaining employment
  • Developing social supports and safe connections with others
  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Nutrition and Wellness
  • Stress Management
  • Development of coping skills

Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services are provided in three basic phases: Assessment, Planning, and Intervention.  These phases ensure a comprehensive, holistic, and recovery-focused assessment process that identifies strengths, goals, and objectives and delivers supportive services that emphasize skill development.  The process focuses on development of a partnership between the individual participating in services and the staff members who provide meaningful supports.

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is also able to provide Enhanced Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, designed for those who require more intensive supports to achieve their goals.  This style of support includes the opportunity for 24/7 services and support, which are teamed with structured residential services.

MPRS promotes flexibility and customization in behavioral health services.  New Vitae Wellness and Recovery also ensures that these services are evidence-based, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed.  Please contact our admissions department for additional information.
