Marc Phillip, M.Ed., MS

Marc obtained his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College in New York City.  While studying, he made a huge impact on the school's basketball team, leading the conference in assists and three-point shots during his Junior and Senior years.  He then obtained two Master's Degrees - one from St. Mary's University in Education, and one from Manhattan College in School Administration.  He identified a passion for working with young people and soon found employment as a Dean in a private school; however, noting limitations associated with the position, Marc developed an afterschool program to afford young adults an opportunity to grow additional skills and focus on educational goals.  This served as a springboard into residential work, and Marc was soon working as the director of an agency that managed foster care services and juvenile detention centers.

After working with young adults for 20 years, Marc discovered New Vitae Wellness and Recovery and was drawn to our vision, culture, and clients.  He currently serves as the Administrator, Pathways.  In looking to the future, Marc hopes to ultimately obtain his PhD, and is currently working to publish two books he has written.  He loves sports and golfs, bowls, plays football, and continues to play basketball.  He is excited to assist with New Vitae's growth and plans to continue to be part of the organization's success.

"New Vitae Wellness and Recovery opened their doors to our family and saved my son's life. We will be forever grateful to the staff."
