Comfort Agbortoko, BS, CBIS

Comfort joined New Vitae Wellness and Recovery on 10/22/18 as the Director of Action Recovery Brain Injury Services. She brings tremendous enthusiasm and 14 years’ experience working in the human services profession.

Comfort started her career working in residential group homes that were created to serve the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, severe and persistent behavioral health and substance use challenges.  Most recently, she helped others as a Program Director, supporting seven residential homes that served individuals with a primary diagnosis of traumatic brain injury. Comfort appreciated the residents and their families, but felt she wanted to contribute to goals associated with long-term independence.

Comfort’s motivation and upbeat personality encourages each client to enhance his/her independence and quality of life. She is inspired to bring a sense of purpose to the New Vitae residents by helping each individual to reach their highest potential. In her personal time, she enjoys exercise and spending time with her family, including raising her three daughters and son.
