Amy Rudisill, LPC

Amy knew from a young age that she wanted to help others.  She remains as passionate about advocating for and helping others as the day she started working within the field, over thirty-two years ago.

Amy has enjoyed working in a variety of roles over the course of her career.  She has over fourteen years of experience with providing direction and support for large outpatient behavioral health services.  She has a special interest in offering support to individuals who encounter crisis, having worked for many years in Crisis Management and acquiring advanced training in Suicide Prevention.  She was honored to participate in training and obtain certification from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to offer counseling following the New York terror attack in 2001.  She is also certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and enjoys spending time at several local barns to volunteer.

Amy is enjoying her role at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery, working with likeminded individuals.  She hopes to take part in positive growth, offering holistic services to people in need, with her creative, caring coworkers and peers.

"New Vitae Wellness and Recovery interviewed my son and  told me 'Sam should come to live with us. He deserves to lead a meaningful life.'  As a result of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery’s supports, those words have been fulfilled."
