Salute the Troops Concert

November 12, 2015

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery was proud to support Victory House of the Lehigh Valley by participating in the November 8th Salute the Troops Concert in Bethlehem.  The Allentown Band, known as the oldest civilian concert band, played a variety of patriotic and popular music that made the audience clap and cheer.  As the crowd waved American flags, the band ended their set with Sousa’s famous "Stars and Stripes Forever."  The concert provided an opportunity to support Veterans who are homeless find housing and community through Victory House services.

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery also serves Veterans who are seeking behavioral health and residential options.  We are proud to be able to offer Veterans significantly reduced-cost or complimentary services through our recent DMVA legislative appropriation.  New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is honored to serve those who have served our country.

The staff, participants, and Veterans who attended all reported having a wonderful time!  Thank you so much to Victory House for your efforts in supporting Veterans!

"I really appreciated the personal attention.  My addiction centered on trauma, and this was the first group that recognized that and validated my feelings.  I will be forever grateful."
