Reception for Governor Wolf: A Celebration of 1 year post-win of the Democratic Nomination
June 5, 2015Adam Devlin, Board Chair for New Vitae Wellness and Recovery, and Judy Yanacek, President and CEO, attended a celebratory reception for Governor Wolf on May 20th, 2015. The event, at Lacroix at the Rittenhouse Hotel, highlighted Governor Wolf’s work to foster employment opportunities, encourage excellence in schools, and create government agencies that support the goals of Pennsylvanians. Adam and Judy enjoyed the opportunity to meet with Governor Wolf, inviting him to visit to tour New Vitae’s sites and learn more about the variety of clinical and residential services New Vitae offers.
Adam and Judy also had the opportunity to speak with Katie McGinty, the Chief of Staff for Governor Wolf. Their discussion emphasized the importance of human services to personal wellness and underscored the importance of prioritizing funding for behavioral health care.
Philadelphia mayoral candidate Jim Kenney was also in attendance. Adam and Judy had the opportunity to meet him and hear his plan to support Philadelphians.
Overall, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Governor’s anniversary and to continue to work toward our shared goals of excellent health for all Pennsylvanians!
