New Vitae Wellness and Recovery Offers Behavioral Health Services in Philadelphia

April 25, 2017

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is happy to announce a corporate development that provides services in Philadelphia County.

“We are honored to be able to serve the residents of Philadelphia County in their home community,” said New Vitae President and CEO Judith Yanacek.  “We are now able to provide an array of customized residential and clinical services for adults that are trauma-informed and utilize the recovery model.”

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery was selected as an award recipient by Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS) to develop comprehensive residential treatment resources. New Vitae has established licensed and Joint-Commission-accredited services within the city to help people in Philadelphia access coordinated treatment services in the community.  Services are individualized and centered on the Recovery oriented, evidence-based practice of Cognitive Therapy.  The program utilizes a full milieu based program to engage residents in actively pursuing life interests and goals, building the necessary social and life skills integrated in the community, where real-life learning and success can be obtained.

“For over 15 years, New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has been able to provide services to Philadelphia residents through our Bucks and Lehigh County offices,” Yanacek said. “We are excited to offer supports focused on our holistic model of care as we continue to respond to behavioral healthcare needs.”
