Hometown Hero Veterans at New Vitae

November 15, 2018

Congratulations to the New Vitae Wellness and Recovery resident Veterans who were honored as Quakertown Hometown Heroes!  The Hometown Heroes program was established to recognize and celebrate the service and contributions of Veterans who live in the Quakertown area.  Hometown Heroes leaders received five nominations and presented gift bags to those New Vitae Veterans on November 14th, 2018.

Ashton Rosenberger, Recreation Coordinator for the Borough of Quakertown, awarded gift bags to Veterans that included gift cards for various businesses, including Applebee’s and Panera Bread, movie tickets, a certificate for a no-cost massage, and other items totaling up to a value of over 200 dollars.  New Vitae was also happy to give an extra Wawa gift card to all of our resident Veterans!

It was the first Hometown Heroes gifting process, and New Vitae Wellness and Recovery was honored to host Ms. Rosenberger and join in the celebration of all Veterans.  Thank you to the Borough of Quakertown, and, of course, all Veterans!

"I feel so much stronger, healthier, and more positive since attending.  I really feel like I worked on myself, not just my addiction.  I like who I'm becoming.  All of my relationships have improved."
