Roundtable Conversion: An evening with Governor Wolf

On Wednesday, January 11, 2017, Judith Yanacek, President and CEO and Kathleen Leonard, Administrator, Recovery Centers, attended a roundtable discussion on emerging industries with Governor Tom Wolf, in Bethlehem, PA.  Topics included the opiate crisis in our state and access to care (healthcare). Governor Wolf is dedicated to finding ways to end this crisis in the Keystone State. New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is also committed to ending this crisis and we are in the process of expanding our Drug and Alcohol services. Judith and Kathleen had the opportunity to discuss this with the governor, US State Senator, Lisa Boscola, as well as other key stakeholders in attendance. It was an energizing discussion and we all look forward to positive steps we will take in the coming months and years.
