New Vitae Wellness and Recovery at the 2016 Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk

On May 6th, 2016, several New Vitae Wellness and Recovery residents and staff joined other walkers for the Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk.  The annual event, co-sponsored by Lehigh and Northampton Counties and coordinated by Recovery Partnership in Bethlehem, serves to educate our community about ending the stigma associated with behavioral health recovery.  Despite the rainy weather, walkers showed their support for the cause, sharing lunch while making connections with peers.  The Bethlehem Rose Garden provided a beautiful setting for the outing, with various performances from local entertainers.

Staff and service users are already looking forward to next year’s walk.  Thanks to all of the walk’s sponsors and supporters!
